Workshops are an excellent way to try new writing exercises, build your communication skills, interact with your peers, and polish your craft. Vonnie leads writing workshops for both children and adults. She doesn't believe in writers' block or excessively negative critiquing. Instead, Vonnie's critique process emphasizes positive reinforcement and additional writing exercises that help to strengthen those areas where a writer needs improvement. Writing workshops should be fun!
Recently, Vonnie taught a 5-session, non-credit Inspirational Writing Workshop and a 5-session, non-credit Poetry Workshop (Summer 2009) at Harford Community College. Check the college's website www.harford.edu or call the Community Education Office 443-412-2376 for details of upcoming courses she'll be teaching.
