Workshops are an excellent way to try new writing exercises, build your communication skills, interact with your peers, and polish your craft. Vonnie leads writing workshops for both children and adults. She doesn't believe in writers' block or excessively negative critiquing. Instead, Vonnie's critique process emphasizes positive reinforcement and additional writing exercises that help to strengthen those areas where a writer needs improvement. Writing workshops should be fun!
Recently, Vonnie taught a 5-session, non-credit Inspirational Writing Workshop and a 5-session, non-credit Poetry Workshop at Harford Community College. She usually participates in workshops at Balticon - the Baltimore Science Fiction Society's annual convention. More info: http://bsfs.org
